Gorillas go 1-2 on the week’s play

On January 19, 2021, Lonnie Klundt was recognized for the Girls and Boys Assistant Coach. Lonnie was honored by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association as the 2019-2020 Region 7 Girls Basketball Assistant Coach of the Year. This award is nominated and voted on by the coaches of the region. Lonnie is very deserving of this honor as it is very apparent to many here in Gregory and around the area, that Lonnie is passionate and dedicated to Gregory Gorilla Basketball. His wife Jennifer and sons Mitchel, Max, Carson and Cruz made many road trips in the famous Baller Hauler van that has hauled nuemerous basketball players to countless basketball tournaments. Presenting Lonnie his award was Coach Kevin Myrmoe.

The Gregory Gorillas fell to Wagner on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in overtime by a score of 63-58.

On Saturday, January 23, the Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers traveled to Winner to compete in the Winner Invitational Wrestling Tournament.
