Ainsworth Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Brown County Citizens at Chamber 'Gala'

First Class Auto was named the 2024 Outstanding Business of the Year. Receiving the award were owners, Tony Buckles (left) and Clint Painter (center). The award was presented by Chamber Board member Willie Kackmeister (right). This award recognizes a business that contributes to the economic growth and quality of life in Ainsworth and that practices professional conduct, community involvement and exceptional customer service.

Katherine Kerrigan was named the 2024 Youth of the Year. “The Youth of the Year” Award is designed to honor a well-rounded, responsible youth who demonstrates exceptional achievements in academics, community/organizational involvement, and leadership. Katherine is pictured with her family.

The Ainsworth Chamber of Commerce recognized retiring board member Ashlie Wright, who has been serving as president of the Chamber of Commerce. Board members are (left to right) Sheena Ferris, Willie Kackmeister, Tanner Jones, Ashlie Wright, Misty Rowley, Katie Rau and Mallory Sansom.

The 2024 Chamber Give Back Award was presented to Jennifer Schuett (right) by Board Member Mallory Sansom (left). The Chamber Give Back award recognizes an outstanding business, organization or community member who consistently goes above and beyond to bring special services, opportunities and events to the area that enrich our culture and bring joy to community members.

Joel Ferris was named the 2024 Senior Citizen of the Year and was presented the award by Board Member Sheena Ferris. “The Senior Citizen of the Year” award is designed to honor an individual who has been influential in the growth of our community, who has served as a positive role model for others, and who personifies Ainsworth's spirit.

Hogemeyer Seed was named as the 2024 Ag Business of the Year. Receiving the award were Eric 'Sherm' Goochey, Sharmaine Miller, Merin Goosman and Airyan Goochey. This award honors an outstanding leader in agribusiness. A business that is constantly reaching into the community to help with local events and advises/helps promote agriculture within our community or in other agribusinessrelated areas.
