Ainsworth Community Schools to Hold Meeting with Parents to Discuss Students with Identified Disabilities

On June 14th at 8:30 a.m., a meeting conducted by Ainsworth Community Schools will take place in the school cafeteria. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for parents who have parentally placed their child in an approved and/or accredited nonpublic school or exempt home school and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend an approved and/or accredited nonpublic school and exempt home schools which are within the Ainsworth Community Schools District for the 2021-2022 school year.

Directed Health Measures Have Been Discontinued for Senior Centers

During Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts’ press conference on Monday, May 24, 2021, he announced that the State of Nebraska is discontinuing its Directed Health Measures, effective at midnight on May 24th. Ricketts will also be rescinding several executive orders that he had issued during the coronavirus pandemic that will be rescinded on June 1, 2021.
