Tariffs, Low Crop Prices Impacting Nebraska Economy in the Wrong Way Driving down the road the other day, I was startled to hear one of our congressional representatives tell NPR that both Nebraska and Iowa were experiencing “basically a recession economy.”

The Ainsworth City Council met for their monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 13, at the Ainsworth Conference Center. Council members present were Heather Lutter, Dustin Barthel, and Brad Fiala.

Kinley Olson (left) was named Junior Miss Rodeo Aberdeen and Madison Arnold (right) was named continued Miss Rodeo Aberdeen on Sunday, August 10, at the 19th annual Miss Rodeo Aberdeen Queen Pageant in Aberdeen, S.D. Olson is from Ainsworth and is home schooled taking high school classes. Arnold is from Mitchell, S.D. and plans to study rural medicine at the University of South Dakota. During their reign, they will represent their titles at local community activities and rodeo events across the state.
