Brown County Historical Society to Host Grand Re-Opening of Coleman House Museum

On May 24 and 25 from 1-4 p.m., the Brown County Historical Society is hosting a grand re-opening of the Coleman House on Highway 20 in Ainsworth. Members of the Historical Society said they have taken all the carpet out to resemble an older house, along with painting, refinishing the floors, purchasing new carpet and rearranging.

Middle School Golfers Compete in Three Invites

The middle school golf season is well underway, and the Bulldogs have played in three meets; Summerland, North Central, and the Stuart Invites. At Summerland, the team finished third with Callen Pierce earning the fourth place medal and Nathan Fernau receiving the sixth place medal.

Jean Hunt Awarded Outstanding Provider Award During 2025 Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) announced the winners of the 2025 Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month Awards. Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) and members of the developmental disabilities community across Nebraska had the opportunity to nominate individuals, providers, community leaders, and employers for one of four awards.
