NCDC Executive Director Kristen Olson reported the North Central Development Center did the following work over the past two months. July 2024 City of Ainsworth • Park Board: Estimates and project development for pickleball and basketball courts and applied for ABC Grant requested in the amount of $107,000.00 along with submitted grant for Brown County Lodging Tax • Housing: Rural Community Recovery Program grant submitted for $775,000 for acquisition/demolition; Private development project for subdivision; and met with 3 nuisance property owners • LB 840: Sent/assisted with four applications for facade and two applications for business loans • ABC: Sent and followed up with three applications for demolition assistance grant program.
