Withdrawal from SWC During the regular meeting of the Ainsworth Community Schools Board of Education on Monday, February 12th, the board had received permission from the superintendents involved in the Southwest Conference to withdrawal from the SWC effective after the 2023-2024 school year. After open discussion at the January 9, 2024 regular school board meeting, it was clear the Ainsworth Board would be ready to entertain a motion to formally withdrawal from the Southwest Conference.

Women & Wheels Ladies Night was held on Wednesday, February 7th at Buckles Automotive. Approximately 40 ladies, who were interested in finding out more about maintenance of their vehicles, attended the free event.

More than 6,800 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans’ List for the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year. Qualification for the Deans’ List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center.
