Sandhills Rod & Gun Club Fall Trap League Concludes

Fall Trap League was held for the fourth and final week at the Sandhills Rod & Gun Club on Wednesday, September 27th. Mob County Boys won the team championship finishing with 850 rocks followed by First Class Auto with 813.

Tacie Rae Kovarik Bailie and Chance Kovarik, of rural Ainsworth, are parents of a daughter, Tacie Rae. Tacie arrived Friday, September 29, 2023, weighing 7 lbs.

This week, October 1-7, 2023, we are proud to be celebrating “National Newspaper Week.” With that being said, we recently realized that this is the 141st year (1882-2023) that there has been a newspaper in the Brown County area. Although it has not always been called the Ainsworth Star-Journal, the focus has always been on keeping the community informed on what is happening.
