White It is less than a month when spring arrives on the calendar. I think everyone is ready for spring this year. The days are sure getting longer at least. Sunday afternoon huge snowflakes came down for just a little while. If it lasted longer, we would have had to get the shovel out.

Carol Woods enjoyed a visit from her brother, Jim Marsh, of Ceresco, for a couple days. He arrived Friday. He had 10 inches of snow early Thursday morning and the wind was blowing. He was able to get opened up later Thursday. Jim and Carol went to the farm. They had been unable to get through all the snow since December, as there was one storm after another.

Ainsworth FFA: A 2022-23 Year in Review

Range judging plays an important role in agriculture as it deals with pasture management and stocking rates for livestock. This year, the Ainsworth FFA attended three range judging competitions in Sargent, West Holt and State Range Judging in Chadron.

FFA...And What It Means to Its Members

Agriculture, Leadership, Career Development and Communication are the words that come to mind when I think of FFA. FFA used to stand for Future Farmers of America, but in 1988 they changed the meaning to the National FFA Organization.

I was inspired to join FFA because both of my brothers were in FFA. Growing up around people who were in FFA made me want to join the organization.
