Ainsworth Women’s League Golf

Shooting the low scramble scores for Wednesday, July 27th during the Ainsworth Women’s scramble golf league were one under par of 35 were the two teams of Brenda Konkoleski, Danielle Palmer, Chelsey Peterson and Rylee Pierce; and Kathy Worrell, Stephanie Kinzie and Julie Micheel. Shooting a round of 36 was the team of Ann Hoch, Jen Martin and Wendy Wilkins. Team score of 37 was turned in by Ashley Martin, Lydia Allen and Rachel Schumacher. Donita Painter, Darlene Ehlers and Linda Rice shot a 39.

With the season winding down for Ainsworth Men’s Golf League, the team of Kevin Martin, Logan Leach and Brett Knoetzel remains in solo first place with a team score of 54. The team of Robbie France, Graig Kinzie and Troy Brodbeck hold on to second place by a meer one-point lead over third place with 51 points.

My yellow squash have lots of blooms but no squash, did I get all male plants? Most vining vegetables including squash and cucumbers, are monoecious, meaning each plant produces both male and female flowers. Female blooms can be identified by the tiny bulb at the base of the flower that will eventually become the vegetable and male flowers have a straight stem.
