Ainsworth Teachers and Coaches Receive CPR Training

Lori Clapper and Leanne Maxwell were the instructors for teaching a CPR refresher course to Ainsworth teachers and coaches recently. During the two sessions recently held, 33 coaches, paras and teachers were given a refresher course on CPR.

Inflammation and the Immune System

Many of my patients will say “Doctor, I am so inflamed”. The use of the word inflammation is commonplace as we search the market for anti-inflammatory diets or self-help books on inflammation. The inflammatory response created by the immune system contributes to healing, but when left unchecked can contribute to chronic disease, allergy, and non-specific symptoms such as achy joints, fatigue and malaise.

Legislative Notes

Earlier this year, I made it clear that my number one priority in the Legislature was to pass a permitless concealed carry bill. I believe that our laws should allow Nebraskans to exercise their right to keep and bear arms without asking permission, paying a fee, or jumping through other bureaucratic hoops. Civil rights should not come with a price tag from the state.
