Robert “Bob” Franklin Brady, 80

Robert “Bob” Franklin Brady, age 80, of Springfield, NE passed away on March 28, 2024 at his residence. He was born on July 31, 1943 in Ainsworth, NE to Dr. Rolland Brady and Helen Shrimpton Brady. Bob married Jacqueline L. Walter on June 12, 1966 in Benkleman, NE and she survives.

Mr. Brady is also survived by his son, James R. (Melissa) Brady; three grandchildren, Julia, Luke and Jake Brady; one niece, Teri Ann Dudley; and one great-niece, Dallas D. Dudley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, John.

Bob worked in Law Enforcement for the IRS for over twenty-two years retiring in 1993. He was a Past President of the Chatham Jaycees and he enjoyed spending time with his fishing buddies, his model train enthusiasts and all his Westies.

Cremation rites were accorded and the family will host a memorial gathering at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chatham Jaycees and condolences may be left at www.bischfuneralhomewest.
