Ainsworth Bulldogs Claim Class D-2 District D-4 Championship with Perfect 8-0 Regular Season Record

The Ainsworth Bulldog Football Team finished 8-0 on the season with their defeat of the Boyd County Spartans on Friday, October 14th. The Bulldogs are now headed into the 2022 Class D2 Football Playoffs. The Bulldogs will host the Loomis Wolves for a 4:00 p.m. game on Thursday, October 20th.

Catching a pass from Traegan McNally, Carter Nelson ran the ball in for a touchdown on Ainsworth’s first play from scrimmage in the last regular season game against the Boyd County Spartans. The pass play covered 50 yards.

Jacob Held scored two touchdowns for Ainsworth, one on a pass play and one on an interception.

Senior Ethan Fernau got to the Spartan Quarterback Charlie Adams and deflected a pass in the first quarter.
