Ainsworth Bulldogs Shutout Niobrara/Verdigree Cougars for Fourth Win, 54-0

Owen Blumenstock takes the ball around the left end on the first play from scrimmage for the Bulldogs and scores on a 58 yard run.

Witten Painter, #54, made the initial stop and was soon joined by four other Bulldogs in tackling Cash Wickersham for a loss. The Dawgs held Niobrara-Verdigre to a minus 40 yards in rushing.

Ainsworth’s Trey Appelt catches Wade Pritchett in the Cougar’s backfield. Appelt had seven tackles and a fumble recovery against Niobrara-Verdigre.

With his legs still off the ground, Carter Nelson stretches for a touchdown. Nelson had three touchdowns against the Cougars.
