On Monday, March 10th, Jolyn Pozehl signed to wrestle for the women’s wrestling team at Southeast Community College in Beatrice. Pozehl has excelled on the mat through her high school career.

Track season is upon us! Many readers know I am very fond of the sport of track and field. I started throwing in Middle School in Ainsworth, and this year, I am lucky enough to get to help coach the high school throwers for Ainsworth, so it is a full circle moment! This weather during track season reminds me of my sophomore year, when Coach Jake Nelson used a whole practice having us scoop snow in the sectors of the throwing field! We even built snowmen for targets.
