June 9th - June 15th, 2024 Sunday, June 9th The Brown County Ambulance Association responded to a 911 call in Ainsworth and transported one patient to the hospital. They later transported a flight crew and a patient to the airport.

Commissioners to Consider 2025 Mountain Lion Season

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will consider recommendations for a 2025 mountain lion hunting season at its June 21st meeting in Ogallala. For the first time, a hunting season will be proposed for mountain lions in the Wildcat Hills.
