The world-renowned Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will perform at Praire View Gospel Barn in Gregory, SD on Sunday, July 18th at 7:00 p.m. From its formation in 2003, Ernie Haase has built Signature Sound into one of the most popular and beloved quartets in all of southern gospel music.

AJ Benemerito was initiated as an Entered Apprentice Mason at Long Pine Lodge No. 136 on July 9, 2021. Jillian Buell of Bassett, a recent graduate of Rock County High School, is among 40 students selected to join the Nebraska Business Honors Academy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall. It will be the ninth cohort since the academy’s founding in 2013.

Ainsworth Community Schools has released a “Launch ACS” 2021-22 Safe Return Plan with COVID-19 Response Protocols. It is a requirement to be eligible for ESSER III ARP stimulus funds to have a safe return plan.

The Alpha Delta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, a teacher honorary, is offering scholarships to local young women who have chosen to pursue a career in the field of education. Interested women with at least 60 college credit hours may apply.
