Tire Amnesty Events Set for 2026

Stacks of old tires taking up space on farms, ranches, and back lots will soon have a responsible place to go. Two events, both funded through Waste Reduction and Recycling Incentive Grants from the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment, will be held locally in the spring of 2026.

Scholarship Opportunities Available for Rural High School Seniors

A number of scholarships are available to high school seniors with Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company (NNTC) services at home thanks to the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS). The FRS is the non-profit arm of the National Rural Broadband Association (NTCA).
