Nicholas is nominee for National Superintendent of the Year in Wyoming

David Nicholas was introduced as a National Superintendent of the Year Nominee at the AASA National Virtual Conference. Mr. Nicholas is a positive example of the district-level educational leadership that can be found throughout Wyoming. He is the superintendent of Washakie #1 in Worland, WY, and has been in the district for over 10 years.

A Note From Cottonwood Corners

The Supreme Court deliberated a little more than three weeks before they made a decision in the case involving the county seat conflict in Gregory County. The question as to which town was entitled to the county seat hinged on whether Fairfax at the time of the November 1916 election was the permanent or temporary county seat.

Final reports are in, and 2020 wasn’t such a bad year for the city after all

The regular meeting of the Gregory City Council was held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at City Hall. Former councilman honored The board observed a moment of silence after the Pledge of Allegiance for former council member Tim Mills, who had passed away the night before.
