AHS Volleyball Team Wins Final Regular Season Home Match

The Lady Dawgs took down the Hyannis Longhorns in four sets (25-16, 23-25, 25-13, 2512) during the team’s last regular- season home game on Thursday, October 1. For the Dawgs, senior Gracyn Painter had 16 kills, followed by sophomore Ava Graff with five and senior Jaylee Good with three.
Bulldogs Fall to Creighton 64-7

The Ainsworth football team traveled to Creighton on Friday, October 2, to take on the Bulldogs. Creighton put up 50 points in the first three quarters while holding Ainsworth scoreless until the team scored a touchdown in the final quarter, but not before Creighton scored 14 more points, to leave the scoreboard reading 64-7.

Gregory residents are being given a second chance to get recycling right. A new trailer, specifically made for recycling, is now parked by the city’s swimming pool and will be monitored by a security camera.

How is it possible that a “regional transmission authority” in Arkansas can order our Nebraska public power utilities to shut off electricity to Nebraskans? Nebraska by itself has more than enough electrical generation within our own state to meet the load requirements that Nebraska users have. Why must power be shut off to Nebraskans?
