Brad Wilkins received the Ann Mactier Leadership for Learning award at the 2024 Nebraska State Education Conference. This is a joint award sponsored by the Nebraska Association of School Board and the State Board of Education. Nominees are to exhibit a legacy of leadership serving as school board members for their districts as well as their efforts on the state and national levels to make a difference in the education of students. This award is essentially the “board member of the year” award for Nebraska. Brad was surprised with this honor on Thursday, November 21st while attending the State Education Conference in Omaha. This is truly an honor for Brad and for Ainsworth Community Schools.

Governor Jim Pillen is previewing some of his priorities for the 2025 legislative session. These initiatives, and others, align with his administration’s ongoing commitment to kids, taxes, agriculture and values.
