A regular meeting of the Brown County Hospital (BCH) Board of Trustees was held Monday, October 28, 2024. The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Kirk Peterson with board members John Gross, Brian Delimont, Tate Schipporeit and Brent Deibler in attendance. Also attending was Mirya Hallock - CEO, Tad Stearns - CFO, Tawny Allen - HR, Erica Hasenohr - AFC Manager, Brandy Bussinger Director of Nursing, and Robin Johannssen - Recording Secretary and Dr. Kenneth Wasmund.

Thought for the week: Nothing which is morally wrong can ever be politically right. We got rain this weekend.

Question: Can I plant the fern hanging on my porch in the ground? Depending on the variety of fern, yes. If you purchased it at a greenhouse or farm store as a porch plant, it is probably a Boston Fern and they are only hardy through zone 10 and will not survive our winter outside.
