AHS Girls Golf Season Preview and O'Neill Results

Heather Lutter returns as the head coach for the Ainsworth girls golf squad this season. This will mark Lutter's 12th year of coaching.
AHS Volleyball Season Preview

This season, Jeri Graff enters her ninth season of coaching the Ainsworth volleyball team. Graff is joined by assistant coach Madisyn Steinkraus.
AHS Football Season Preview

The Ainsworth High School football team is back under the head coaching of Wade Alberts. Alberts has a total of eight years.

Elks Lodge Donates to Sudden Cardiac Death Prevention Screening

Brown County Hospital recently conducted Sudden Cardiac Death Prevention Heart Screening for individuals ages 11 to 34. Heart screening tests included a Limited Echocardiogram, blood pressure check, 12-lead ECG and the ECG was reviewed by a certified Pediatric Cardiologist.

Nick Martin’s 1-under par round of 35 was the top effort Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Martin finished two shots clear of Graig Kinzie, who posted a 1-over par round of 37. John Pierce and Brett Knoetzel carded rounds of 38, followed by Cody Goochey and Landon Welke with rounds of 39.

The team of Brandon Beebout, Joel Steinhauser, Justin Kasmicki and Daniel Schumacher won the Annual Ainsworth Alumni Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 30th at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Twenty teams competed in the 4-Person Scramble.

Last week of individual golfing for the season with the Ainsworth’s Women’s Golf League has been completed, the team of Amanda Murphy, Christy Fullen and Natalie Leach remain in first place with 67 points. The team of Ann Hoch, Jen Martin and Wendy Wilkins are in second place with 60 points and in third place is the team of Julie Micheel, Stephanie Kinzie and Kathy Worrell with 51.50.

1st Class Auto Wins 2024 Garth Swett Memorial Kickball Tournament

The annual 2024 Garth Swett Memorial Kickball Tournament was held on Philben Field on Saturday, June 29th with 1st Class Auto Team taking first place. 1st Class Auto defeated SFC Cross Hammers by a score of 5-4 in the championship game.
