With warm spring weather taking hold, the Bulldogs are lacing up their shoes for an exciting track season. The Bulldogs competed at the track meet held in Vermillion, SD on March 22nd, and they look forward to the Ainsworth Relays to be held on Friday, March 25th.

Coaches from the eight schools that make up the Southwest Conference have announced the 2021-22 SWC All-Conference Basketball Teams. The coaches nominate players and then vote to select first, second and third team players for girls and boys basketball.

Alpha Delta Chapter of DKG met March 12, 2022 at Ainsworth Schools. Seven members answered roll call and made a donation to Read Aloud Nebraska.

Three Brown County students – Ursula Morales, Blake Hansmeyer and Renata Kislev – qualified for the state contest portion of the annual 2022 Nebraska Severe Weather Awareness Poster Contest. Governor Pete Ricketts signed a proclamation declaring March 21st - 25th as Nebraska Severe Weather Awareness Week, a time to remind Nebraskans that community preparedness can minimize the dangers of the annual severe weather season to the lives and property of Nebraskans.

The American Legion Post #79 Auxiliary met February 25th at the Post Home for the regular monthly meeting. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Marilyn and opened according to ritual.
