Ainsworth City Council Sets August 9th as Date for Vote on Local Option Economic Development Act

During the regular meeting of the Ainsworth City Council on March 9, the council voted unanimously to pass a resolution setting August 9th, 2022 as the special election date for Ainsworth voters to consider an updated economic development plan pursuant to the Local Option Municipal Economic Development Act, with a new program term and associated city sales tax for funding the program.
