4-H Workshops Held in Brown County

The BKR Extension Office held three workshops for 4-H members on Tuesday, June 15th at the E-Free Church. 4-H kids could participate in making tie-dye t-shirts, molds of wildlife animal tracks and nutritional snacks.

June 13 - 19th, 2021 Sunday, June 13th Responded to reports of possible suspicious activity at an Ainsworth business. Received reports of a black bull out on North Meadville Avenue near 887th Road.

Welcome Home, Ainsworth Alumni This week we will find many Ainsworth High School Alumni converging on Ainsworth as they celebrate during the Annual Alumni Reunion this weekend. It is that time when classmates and friends get together to remember the times they had while they were in high school.

Legislative Notes

It has come to my attention from many constituents in the 43rd District along with others across Nebraska that there is an issue with the new proposed Health and Human Development Standards being evaluated by the Nebraska State Board of Education. Many parents, grandparents and teachers have contacted me with serious concerns about this proposed curriculum. Teaching children about gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation and gender stereotypes is planned for as early as first grade.
