WIC and Immunization Clinic to Restart by Appointment Only

COVID-19 disrupted both inperson learning and routine wellchild visits for many children over the last year. As a result, too many children have fallen behind on receiving recommended vaccines. We all want our kids to be back in school safely, and that means getting caught up on vaccines that were missed over the last year.

Finally, Economic Development for the Little Guy They weren’t sitting around the firepit singing Kumbaya, but Nebraska lawmakers were mostly congenial in advancing several economic development measures, which could actually help the little guy for a change. With no negative votes, they advanced to second-round consideration the Urban Redevelopment Act (LB544), the Rural Projects Act (LB40) and the Municipal Inland Port Authority Act (LB156).

Brown County Planning Commission Approves Amendment 37e to Zoning Regulations by 4-3 Vote

The Brown County Planning Commission met on March 31st to discuss Amendment 37e to the Brown County Zoning Regulations. Amendment 37e, which covered Environmentally Controlled Housing and Non-Environmentally Controlled Housing of livestock, was tabled at a previous meeting because the Planning Commission couldn’t come to a consensus on it.
