Ainsworth Fire and Rescue responded to a gas meter/vehicle accident on Thursday, February 6th. The meter was located in the alley between Elm and Oak Street, behind the Church of the Nazarene.

The Ainsworth High School Speech Team kicked off the competition season on Saturday, January 18th at the Valentine Icebreaker Tournament. Sponsor Heather Lutter said, “This was a successful meet for the speakers, with the team finishing in 2nd place out of the five teams competing.

The Ainsworth Girls Wrestling Team was in Fall City for the NSAA Girls B District 2 Wrestling Tournament on February 7th and 8th. Ainsworth had six wrestlers compete with two, Paisley Hoffman and Megan Jones, qualifying for the upcoming NSAA State Wrestling Tournament in Omaha on February 18th and 19th.
