“Fall Is Upon Us” The temperatures keep dipping lower and lower in the evenings and one can definitely feel the change in the air as you watch the beauty of the landscapes changing to bright reds, yellow and oranges. It makes one realize, that it is time to clean up the garden area, wash a few windows, clean out the garage, or maybe mow the lawn for one last time, before the cold sets in.

Rural Mainstreet Economy Fell to Early Pandemic Low

Creighton University reported for a 13th straight month, the overall Rural Mainstreet Index (RMI) sank below growth neutral, according to the September survey of bank CEOs in rural areas of a 10-state region dependent on agriculture and/or energy. Overall: The region’s overall reading for September sank to 37.5 from 40.9 in August.
