The Ainsworth Bulldog Booster Club held its 7th annual Bulldog Pride Fundraiser at the Ainsworth Conference Center on Friday, August 16th. After all the expenses were paid, the Booster Club netted $21,000.00.

The goal was never, as I remember it, to go big. I did not have a 20-year plan at the age of six. I did not use my summers in high school as leverage points for research or networking. And I most certainly never thought I would end up at Yale University. In road mapping my life, I had never planned an Ivy League as a destination along the way.

The Ainsworth Board of Education - Brad Wilkins, Frank Beel, Mark Johnson, Jessica Pozehl and Bryan Doke met in regular session on Monday, August 12th. Action Items Emergency Operating Plan (EOP) Approval Annually, the Board approves the working copy of the School's Emergency Operating Plan stated the administration.

Member’s present were Tom Jones, Mel Campbell, Dennis Bauer, Bruce Papstein, and Kent Taylor. Also present were Penny Jacobs, Sandhills Care Center Administrator, Sarah Mayhew, Director of Nursing and Kenzie Crane, Business Administrator.

August 4th through August 10th, 2024 Sunday, August 4th Responded to a report of a verbal altercation on 2nd Street in Ainsworth. During a traffic stop on Highway 7, a Nebraska driver was issued a citation for speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Kelsie Evans has been hired as the Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Ainsworth. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has enforced City of Ainsworth Codes in the past.
