(ALL MINUTES ARE UNOFFICIAL UNTIL APPROVED AT THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING) May 21, 2024 The Brown County Commissioners met as the Board of Equalization (BOE) in regular session on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., Brown County Courthouse meeting room with Chairman Buddy Small, Denny Bauer and Jeremiah Dailey present. Also present were Brown County Clerk (BCC) Travis Hobbs and Brown County Assessor (BCA), Peggy Gross.

May 8, 2024 Village of Johnstown Board of Trustees met at the Village Office at 106 N. Main, Johnstown.

A regular meeting of the Brown County Hospital (BCH) Board of Trustees was held Monday, May 20, 2024. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Kirk Peterson with board members John Gross and Tate Schipporeit present. Brian Delimont and Brent Deibler were excused. Also attending were Mirya Hallock - CEO, Tad Stearns - CFO, Tawny Allen - HR, Erica Hasenohr - Manager Ainsworth Family Clinic and Robin Johannssen - Recording Secretary. Dr. Kenneth Wasmund and Dr. Melvin Campbell also attended. Service Excellence

The Ainsworth Lions Club held its regular monthly meeting at 12:00 noon on May 20, 2024 at the Senior Center. Lions Club President Steve Dike called the meeting to order with eight members present. Lion Treasurer Fuchs was absent and not able to submit a report. The current financial activity and account balances will be presented at the June meeting.

U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy confirmed that the U.S. Postal Service will pause the movement of mail processing operations, which includes the facility in North Platte, NE until January of 2025.
