On Friday, April 5, 2024 and Saturday, April 6, 2024, the Ainsworth Community Schools Music Department presented their spring musical, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”! The ACS music students presented three fun-filled performances to the community. It was a boot-scootin' good time that shared a story of love, humor, grief, loss, growth, anger, and a look at life in the old-west! The students spent 11 weeks preparing the show for the community and it was truly a fabulous time seeing their characters grow, change, and come to life.

Ainsworth Community Schools Board of Education - Scott Erthum, Jessica Pozehl, Frank Beel, Mark Johnson and Bryan Doke were busy with American Civics Americanism Committee Meeting #1, Board Work Session and Retreat and Regular Monthly Meeting on Monday, April 8th.

Ainsworth students took 26 tests with 21 ranking in the top 10 of their tests. Three students placed just out of medals in fourth place: Logan Schroedl in Chemistry; Jocelyn Good in Medical Terminology; and Jordan Beatty in Vocabulary.

832 students were awarded the Nebraska State FFA Degree at the 96th annual Nebraska FFA State Convention held April 3rd - 5th. The State FFA Degree is the highest degree bestowed by the Nebraska FFA.
