    Kendyl Delimont Breaks Records, Reaches 1,000 Points AHS junior Kendyl Delimont joined an elite basketball club Thursday night, March 16th, when she surpassed 1,000 career points. In addition to the landmark career points achievement, Delimont also broke the girls basketball school records for career 3-pointers, most 3-pointers in a season and most points scored in a season.

    City of Ainsworth Receives Grant to Update Cyber Security

    The City of Ainsworth received a LARM Safety Grant for a cyber security update to the City’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) for its water department. According to Lisa Schroedl, City of Ainsworth Administrator/ Clerk/Treasurer, the grant was used to strengthen the security of the water system.

    Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen Backs Anti-LGBTQ ‘Bill and Tax Cuts in State of the State Address

    LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — In his second state of the state address to Nebraska lawmakers, Gov. Jim Pillen on Thursday covered everything from praising the state’s response to recent winter storms to supporting a divisive bill that would restrict transgender student participation in high school sports and limit trans students’ access to bathrooms and locker rooms.

    Nebraska Voters Can Now Submit Early Voting Applications

    Nebraskans who would like to vote early for the May 14, 2024, statewide primary can now submit early voting applications to their county election office. Voters can either download the early voting applications from the Nebraska Secretary of State’s website here, or they can request an application from their county election office.
