    Alpha Delta Chapter and Member Win Awards

    Small, but mighty! This describes Alpha Delta Chapter. There are only ten members; however, most meetings have more than fifty percent in attendance. Several members hold state offices and/or serve on state committees. These are among the reasons this chapter was awarded the 2023 Nebraska State Chapter Achievement Award at the April Nebraska State Convention during the Founders’/Presidents’ Banquet. One member was “totally shocked” when she was awarded the Nebraska State Individual Achievement Award, just after her chapter had won!

    AHS Golf Team Wraps Up Regular Season

    The Ainsworth High School Boys Golf Team wrapped up its regular season play with Highway 20 Boys Golf Invitational in Bassett on May 8th and the Valentine Invitational on May 11th. Eleven teams competed in Bassett with Stuart winning the invitational with a team score of 356.

    Twenty-two Ainsworth High School Graduates Receive Scholarships to Continue Their Education

    During the graduation ceremonies at Ainsworth Community Schools, 108 scholarships were awarded to 22 graduates who are college-bound seniors. These scholarships are awarded for outstanding performances in fine arts, athletics, and other activities as well for outstanding academic performance in the classroom. This year’s scholarship winners are:

    Brown County Historical Society Notes

    The Brown County Historical Society held its meeting Tuesday, May 9th at the Coleman House Museum. The main topic of discussion was on the moving of the Coleman house.
