AHS Volleyball Team Wins Final Regular Season Home Match

The Lady Dawgs took down the Hyannis Longhorns in four sets (25-16, 23-25, 25-13, 2512) during the team’s last regular- season home game on Thursday, October 1. For the Dawgs, senior Gracyn Painter had 16 kills, followed by sophomore Ava Graff with five and senior Jaylee Good with three.
Bulldogs Fall to Creighton 64-7

The Ainsworth football team traveled to Creighton on Friday, October 2, to take on the Bulldogs. Creighton put up 50 points in the first three quarters while holding Ainsworth scoreless until the team scored a touchdown in the final quarter, but not before Creighton scored 14 more points, to leave the scoreboard reading 64-7.

The high school Earth Science classes toured Ashfall Fossil Beds on Wednesday, September 16. Their tour was guided by Ashfall Fossil Beds Educator Daniel George.

The Ainsworth High School Speech team participated in the traditionally difficult Best of the West Tournament in North Platte on Saturday, February 25th. Ainsworth placed 5th out of 12 teams and earned 3rd place honors among the Class C/D schools.
