The Ainsworth Ladies’ Cross Country Team finished the 2022 season on the medal stands at the Kearney Country Club at the NSAA State Cross Country Championships on October 21st. In a tight team race that was separated by just mere points, the Bulldogs came away with their sixth trophy in the last seven trips as they collected the 2022 Class D Runner-Up hardware.

As the regular season play for high school volleyball comes to an end, Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs ended that portion of play with a winning season, 17-15. This past week the Bulldogs hosted South Loup at Lila McAndrew, loosing in 4 sets, 25-14, 20-25, 18-25 and 18-25.

Members of the Ainsworth Pink Ladies Dart League celebrated their 10 year anniversary on Saturday, October 22nd, enjoying the fact that they have paid out over $100,000.00 in that time frame. Money has been given to many cancer victims in the KBR area.

Rural Mainstreet Economic Index Falls Below Growth Neutral Again

The Creighton University Rural Mainstreet Index (RMI) fell for the sixth time in the past seven months, sinking below growth neutral for a fifth consecutive month, according to the monthly survey of bank CEOs in rural areas of a 10-state region dependent on agriculture and/or energy.
