The AHS Girls Golf team faced a challenging day of competition on Tuesday, September 27th at the Southwest Conference Golf Tournament at Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook. Hannah Beel shot a personal best of 132 to lead the squad.

After four weeks of good weather the Fall Trap League at the Sandhills Rod and Gun Club comes to and end. Open skeet shooting will go on for the next two Wednesday nights starting at 5:00 p.m.

The Ainsworth Girls Cross Country team got back into the winning column after competing at the West Holt Invite on Thursday, September 29th. Four high school girls, along with medal earning performances from four other Bulldog harriers, highlighted the day as Ainsworth concluded the Invite portion of the season. The tune-up saw many personal bests and positives as the Bulldogs move into the conference, district and state meets during the month of October.
