O’Neill Lady Eagles came to Ainsworth on Thursday, September 29th and made a clean sweep on the Ainsworth Bulldogs, beating the Lady Dawgs in three sets, 18-25, 20-25 and 21-25. They only had the one match last week.

Nebraska’s plan to create a network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations as part of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program has been approved by the US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT). As a result, Nebraska will receive approximately $6 million per year for the next five years for EV charging stations. The plan will be reviewed and evaluated on a yearly basis. Nebraska will also be able to compete for a portion of an additional $2.5 billion in discretionary grant funding.

On October 29 at 7 pm CT, come join Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge staff and learn about the animals and sounds of the night during the Hoots and Howls program. Come experience the wonders of the night sky through large telescopes, including one that is accessible, with National Park Service Staff at 8:15 pm CT. These programs start at the upper Fort Falls trailhead in Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge. Be prepared to walk in the dark with sturdy shoes, bug repellent and water.
