Voting is one of the primary ways we participate in our democracy, but it can be hard to know how to talk to kids about voting, especially during this contentious election season. The lead-up to Election Day is a great opportunity to help your kids understand how our country works – and to talk about the values you believe in (no matter who you’re casting your ballot for). Ainsworth Does Drove #54 hosted its annual Daddy-Daughter Dance on Saturday, April 23rd. This year’s theme was based on “Candyland,” with lots of balloons, candy and other snacks on hand throughout the evening for munching on. They had a great turnout, with girls aging from toddlers to high school girls. The girls, dads and some grandpas had a great time enjoying the evening together.

On Friday, April 22, 2022, the Ainsworth music department participated in district music contest. The band and choir traveled to Atkinson, NE to perform at West Holt High School.

The April 19, 2022 American Legion Auxiliary #79 meeting was called to order by President Marilyn at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was opened according to ritual followed by a prayer from Chaplain Ellen.
