Illegal drugs are a serious business. Their purpose is to make the cartels and drug manufacturers rich. The cartels and drugs themselves are not concerned at all about your health, your bank account, your home life, or even your children or friends – unless they’re users. To them a person using drugs is simply a customer and cash cow.

Many constellations are bright, big, and fairly easy to spot. Others can be surprisingly small and faint, but with practice even these challenging star patterns become easier to discern. The Long Pine City Council held a regular meeting on Thursday, April 7th at the Long Pine Community Center. Post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, was first listed as a medical diagnosis in 1980. However, it has been recognized and called by many different names throughout history. The first recorded description of PTSD is in the Epic of Gilgamesh which dates back to 2100 B.C. In The Iliad and The Odyssey, Homer wrote about Trojan War soldiers exhibiting the symptoms of PTSD. Shakespeare described a character in King Henry IV who suffered from post-traumatic nightmares.

Teens 14 or 15 years of age who work on farms, or others who are interested in learning about safe farming practices, can register for a tractor safety training course offered at six locations across Nebraska from May 25th through June 10th.

From painting them bright colors, hunting them down, or just devouring them on the spot, eggs in all their forms are as much a part of Easter as a Sunday service and the meal that follows. But how did something secular become such a fixture of a religious holiday?
