The Ainsworth FFA Chapter held its Annual Hired Hand Auction on Monday evening, November 18, 2024. It was a great fundraiser as the FFA students were individually auctioned off to the highest bidders and in return the students will put in one - eight hour day of work of the bidders choice.

On Saturday, November 16th, the Ainsworth High School cast and crew hosted the Ainsworth Play Festival. There were five schools: Ainsworth, West Holt, Valentine, Anselmo- Merna and Lexington, who competed at the festival.

Brandon Flynn of Clearwater, FL found success on opening morning of the Nebraska Deer Season on Saturday, November 16th. Flynn was hunting with friends in Brown County and took the 4x5 Whitetail Deer on opening morning. Flynn said he was born in Ainsworth.

Ainsworth Head Football Coach Jessi Owen announced the selections to the All-District Football Team. Owen reported that football coaches from the district got together and selected players for the All-District Football Team.
