Barbara Huelle, 76

Barbara Ann Huelle, daughter of Orbie and Gladys (Edie) Patton, was born January 11, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. She passed from this life Monday, January 22, 2024 in Franklin, NE having recently celebrated her 76th birthday.

Barbara graduated from Argentine High School in Kansas City and then attended Kansas City Business School where she received her Business Degree. On June 21, 1969, she was united in marriage to Dwayne A. Huelle in Ainsworth, NE. To this union three daughters were born - Jodi, Jennifer, and Jamie. Dwayne died in October 2015.

She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and was especially proud of her great-granddaughter, Poppy. Her time was filled crocheting gifts for her grandchildren and enjoyed going bowling. Barbara was the self-appointed historian for the Patton and Huelle family.

Barbara will be forever remembered by her daughters, Jodi Hanson of Montrose, CO, Jennifer Huelle of Franklin, Jamie Treblik (Jesse), Firestone, CO; ten grandchildren, Angela, Faith, Bethany (Adrian), Lilia, Moriah, Joseph, Stephen, Jake, Ashliee, and Gunner; great-granddaughter, Poppy; her sister, Mildred Woods, Davenport, IA; sister-in-law, D’Ann Washington (Scott), Ashland, NE; brother-in-law, Bill Huelle (Mary Jo), Mitchell, NE; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Grace Lutheran Church, Franklin, NE with Pastor David Hutson officiating. She was laid to rest beside her husband, Dwayne in the Ainsworth City Cemetery, Ainsworth, NE at noon on Saturday, January 27, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the family or Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin.
