Word has been received of the death of Betty M. Haynes, age 85 of Bassett, NE. Betty Haynes died Wednesday, June 6, 2024 at the Rock County Hospital Long-Term Care in Bassett.
A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date. Survivors include, husband, Willis L. Haynes of Bassett; son, Scott (Heidi) Haynes of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Nadean (Rod) Wilkerson of Cambridge, NE; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Leola Johnson of Biggs, CA; and Judy Burns of George West, TX; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Betty’s name for future designation.
