A memorial service for Christina Lynne Cook, age 50, of Anchorage, Alaska, will b e h eld o n S aturday, D ecember 2 0, a t 1 p .m. a t t he Congregational United Church of Christ in Ainsworth. Inurnment will follow in the East Woodlawn Cemetery at Johnstown. Christy Cook passed away November 10 in Anchorage.
Survivors include two children, Jassamyn Lorene Cook and Decker Rodney Cook of Anchorage; parents Keevin and Dottie Arent of Ainsworth; stepchildren Cheyenne (Cody) Doyle of Mills, Skyler (Jake) Nelson of Ainsworth, and D.R. Cook of Scotia; one step-granddaughter Athena Doyle; and special friends Monte Mauch of Ainsworth and Tracy Harrison of Sioux Falls, S.D.; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Southcentral Foundation, Alaska (A service organization for Alaska native and American Indian people living in Anchorage) or to the family for Jessamyn and Decker’s higher education.
