Clarence J. Danielski, 91

Clarence Joseph Danielski of Valentine, passed away on Friday February 12, 2021 at the age of 91. Clarence died peacefully with his beloved wife Betty and his family by his side.

Clarence was born in Genoa on September 22, 1929 to father Andrew Joseph Danielski and mother Kathryn (Gaver) Danielski. He married Betty Maurer on October 25, 1950 and raised their family of six children on a farm near Monroe.

After attending school in Monroe, he gravitated toward his love of farming. Clarence was largely a self-educated, self-made man who loved the art of the deal and making deals. In the late 70s he founded Danielski Farming and Harvesting Company in Valentine.

In his early years he owned and operated Loup Valley Construction in Monroe, a land leveling excavation operation. In the early 70s he and his family moved to Valentine and went into custom harvesting from south Texas to North Dakota including the King Ranch in Texas. His enthusiasm allowed him to stay active in the family farming business until the age of 90 including clearing trees on his D8 Cat. He also had a passion for aviation which began at a young age, logging thousands of hours as an accomplished pilot. Clarence loved people; he never met a stranger he didn’t like and he never went anywhere without making new friends.

He cherished his family and is survived by his wife, Betty of 70 years, his children, David, Donald (Felicia), Michael (Becky), Susan Moser-Paprosky (Wayne), Leonard (Linda) and Thomas, 13 grand children, Wayne (Candice), Dale, Chrystle Wichman (Jeremie), Christopher (Sarah), Jennifer Boaz (Mike), Andrew (Ashleigh), Nicholas Moser, Luke Moser (Tygh), Erica Moser, Tonia Kaup (Jason), Jay (Tami), Shannon Favinger (Matt), Adam; 17 greatgrandchildren; sisters, Irene and Lucille Kresha, brother-in-law, Harry Malakoff, many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Kathryn, brother, Leonard; sister-in-law Margurite Ann Greisen, sister-in-law, Lois Maurer-Malakoff, father-in-law, Kenneth Maurer, mother-in-law, Helen Maurer, brother-in-law, Arthur Kresha, brother-in-law, Charles Kresha.

A private family Rosary and Mass was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church February 18 at 1:00 p.m. in Broken Bow; Father Jim Hunt, Father Jim Janovec and Rev. Abraham Kaduthodiyil from Saint Nicholas Catholic Church in Valentine officiated. A graveside burial was held on Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Valentine. Sandoz Chapel of the Pines was in charge of service arrangements.
