David E. Lehn, Sr., 71

David E. Lehn, Sr., age 71 of Kearney, NE, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his home. Burial will be at a later date at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, NE.

David was born on November 10, 1949 in Ainsworth, NE to Ralph and Betty J. (Woods) Lehn, Sr. He later attended high school in Oregon before serving his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Treva Brown on May 29, 1991 in Rock County, NE David worked the majority of his life as a truck driver.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Treva of Kearney; sons, David Lehn, Jr. and his fiancé, Crystal Harkness of Kearney and John Lehn of Bend, OR; sister, Carol Caudill of Ainsworth, NE; brother, Ralph Lehn, Jr. of Oregon; step-sons, Rod (Lori) Guthard, Bruce (Rhonda) Guthard, Kent (Becky) Guthard and Joel (Renee) Guthard; step-daughter, Jolene (Steven) Cantoria; two granddaughters, two grandsons, one great-granddaughter, 12 step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; numerous other nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Don Caudill; and nephew, Robbie Lehn.
