Doris was born on August 28, 1925. Her parents were Charlie and Effie Norman of rural Ainsworth, NE. Doris passed away on January 25, 2023.
She spent her childhood on the family farm, and graduated from Ainsworth High School.
She married Clarence Alberts, and they had one son, Mike. Clarence was killed in early 1951 in the car in which he was a passenger that struck a disabled truck, a half mile west of Ainsworth.
Doris married Norbert Widhalm the following year, and together they had three more children.
Survivors of Doris her children, Mike, Patrick John and Lee Ann. Preceding her in death are her two husbands, Clarence and Norbert. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 2nd, at 11:30 p.m. at the Ainsworth Cemetery, south of town. Donnie Painter will be officiating the service.
