Dr. Leland F. Asa of Berthoud, CO passed away on May 10, 2024.
He was born in Morrill, NE. In 1952 he married Alice Evelyn Moore of Long Pine, NE, daughter of Ted and Minnie Moore. Leland retired from teaching at Westmont College in 1998 and moved to a farm in Berthoud, CO.
Alice Evelyn passed away in 1995 and Leland remarried Alice Marie Doty.
He is survived by his wife; his daughter, Sandra (Kevin) Lundberg of Berthoud; son, Bert Asa (Tracey) of Berthoud; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Longmont, CO on May 28, 2024.
