Elda Marie (Crooker) Kenton passed away on July 20, 2023 at Hastings, NE. No services will be held per her request.

Elda (Marie) 65, was born to Carl (Bud) and Alice Crooker on July 28, 1957. Elda (Marie) grew up on a ranch south of Wood Lake. On November 10, 1979 she was united in marriage to Dean Kenton. To this union three children were born, Marty, Grant and Deana.

She is survived by her sons, Marty Kenton, Westminister, CO, Grant (Chelsea) Kenton, Kearney, NE; daughter, Deana Kenton, Hastings, NE; four granddaughters, Emma, Nahalie, Novalee and Mikayla; two grandsons, Brentley and Maverick; and one great-grandson, Dikieth; brothers, Dave (Barb) Crooker of Long Pine, NE and Joe (Tammy) Crooker of Ainsworth, NE; sisters, Georgia (Jerry) Gaskins of Paonia, CO, Linda (Rick) Strand and Lillie Parkison both of Ainsworth; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl (Bud) and Alice Crooker; her infant brother, Larry Lee Crooker and nephew, Ricky Strand.
