Funeral Service for Ethel A. North, age 93, of Long Pine, NE will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth, NE. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery at Long Pine. Ethel North died Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in the Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, NE.
Survivors include son, Ed (Shari) North of Emmet, NE; three grandchildren, Bryan North, Sarah (North) Hardin and Randy North; six great-grandchildren, Joslyn North, Adrienne North, Tanner North, Clayton North, Ethan Hardin and Brandon Hardin; sisters, Leta Schuebel of Wheatland, WY and Wilma (Robert) Appleman of Johnstown, NE; sister-in-law, Rosemary Nelson of Beatrice, NE; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitations for Ethel North will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth and continue on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the service time at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Ethel’s name for a future designation.
